It is so easy to write and self publish a book and self publish it. You can go to Create Space or www.createspace.com and create your book cover, choose your page style, upload and publish your book all for free.
You must have a niche in a popular category. It can be anything that is popular with the general population and it must be something that you know a lot about or something that you have a great interest in.
Then go to Amazon Best Selling Kindle Version Books then pick out one of the best sellers that is in your niche category. If your niche is in Self Help and the best seller is "Highly Effective Persons" and if your book is about the same interest then you can title your book "Highly Effective Persons Worldwide" Not the same but same benefits. It is likely that your book will also become an Amazon best seller.
Amazon is a great employer and they pay on a regular basis. My first book was published by another company and I have yet to earn .1 (one) red cent from it.
However, within six weeks of publishing with Amazon I began receiving regular paychecks. They are faithful and loyal! They are also extremely helpful if you get stuck. Just call the toll free number at Amazon Customer Service then ask for Kindle Department and they will help walk you through the process.
And they send you all your tax preperation 1099's and W2's at the start of each new year so that you can keep good records.
